Will using these schemes make a difference to our OFSTED Inspection?

Yes, it will show the Inspectors that you are delivering high quality and progressive lessons, that meet the needs of the National Curriculum.

The DfES have set a number of objectives for School Sports Partnerships and the Annual Review that is completed by PDMs asks them to report on several outcomes.

Two of them can be addressed through using the Rawmarsh School Schemes of Work -

"Increased participation in high quality physical education" and

"Increased attainment and achievement in and through physical education and sport".

A number of partnerships throughout the country have addressed these objectives by using the schemes for Dance, Gym and Games.

Do I need to have all the Rawmarsh School Schemes of Work to be able to use the Assessment package?

No, all schools will be able to use the Assessment Package without the schemes, as it is based on the National Curriculum and QCA.

However, the Assessment pack obviously ties in well and is closely linked with the schemes of work.
